Last updated: October 17, 2026. This policy explains what information the website crprocolor.com collects, what it is used for, and what rights you have over it.

1. Who is responsible

Procolor — Painting Contractors, based in Heredia, Costa Rica. You can reach us by WhatsApp or phone at +506 7255 0014, or at the office on +506 4418 8152.

2. What data we collect

  • Data you give us when requesting a quote: name, phone number, location, type of service, property details and anything else you choose to write. The quote form on this site does not store that information on our own server: it builds a message and opens it in WhatsApp for you to send. Until you send it, it does not reach us.
  • Browsing data: pages visited, time on the site, device and browser type, approximate country and city, and clicks on the WhatsApp and call buttons.

3. What we use it for

To answer quote requests, schedule technical visits and follow up on the work, and to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not sell or rent your personal data.

4. Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4, a service by Google LLC, to measure visits and how well the site works. It may use cookies or similar identifiers to tell visits apart. We do not use the information for personalized advertising. According to Google, Analytics 4 does not log or store users' IP addresses. If you prefer not to take part, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or block cookies in your browser settings.

5. Other third-party services

  • WhatsApp (Meta): when you message us, the conversation is also governed by WhatsApp's privacy policy.
  • Google Fonts: the site's typefaces are loaded from Google servers, which may receive your device's IP address in order to deliver them.
  • Facebook and Instagram: the site links to our pages on those networks; their own policies apply once you visit them.
  • Hosting: the site is published through a hosting provider that processes the technical data needed to deliver the pages.

6. Retention

We keep messages and contact details for as long as needed to handle your request and meet legal or work-warranty obligations. Browsing data is kept according to the retention settings of Google Analytics.

7. Your rights

Under Costa Rica's Law No. 8968 on the Protection of Individuals regarding the Processing of Personal Data, you may request access to your data, its correction or deletion, and object to its processing. To exercise these rights, message us on WhatsApp at +506 7255 0014 or call the office. You may also contact the Agency for the Protection of Inhabitants' Data (Prodhab).

8. Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Even so, no internet transmission is completely secure; we recommend not including sensitive information in your messages unless it is needed for a quote.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site or the regulations change. The date of the latest update appears at the top of this page.
